Gwynedd Local Development Plan

Cyngor Gwynedd is preparing a new Local Development Plan for the Gwynedd Local Planning Authority area (which is the area of Gwynedd located outside the Eryri National Park). The Plan will aim to meet the housing, employment, social and environmental needs of Gwynedd for the period up to 2039.

Following its adoption, the Plan will inform decisions on development proposals and seek to address the needs and opportunities of the area. The main purpose of the Local Development Plan is to provide guidance on the types of development that are suitable in different locations.

The purpose of this questionnaire is to gather information that will contribute to ensuring that the Local Development Plan reflects the needs and aspirations of the people who live and work within the Local Development Plan area. A detailed response will allow us to better understand what is a priority and important to you.

We will use any personal information submitted for the purpose of analysing the questionnaire only. The information will not be shared outside of the Council and any public reports will be anonymous. The information will be retained for 7 years.
