Gwynedd Town Centre Regeneration: List of Contractors

Cyngor Gwynedd is committed to revitalising town centres and is keen to support property owners in improving or bringing buildings back into use. As part of this initiative, the Council is compiling a list of experienced contractors and tradespeople who can be considered for maintenance, renovation, or property adaptation work.

The information you provide will help us create a useful resource that will stay active for five years and be reviewed at the end of that period.

Cyngor Gwynedd accepts no responsibility or liability whatsoever for the performance, conduct, quality of work, costs, outcomes, or any disputes arising from the engagement of any business or contractor listed; inclusion on the list does not imply recommendation, endorsement, verification, or approval by the Council, and all due diligence remains the sole responsibility of the property owner.

By registering to be included on this list, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

  • While the Council does not specifically recommend any individual contractor, we hope this list will serve as a useful starting point for those looking to invest in their property. Inclusion on the list does not guarantee work or any contractual engagement.
  • Inclusion on the list does not constitute approval, endorsement, or a guarantee of work quality by Cyngor Gwynedd.
  • Cyngor Gwynedd accepts no responsibility or liability for any contractual relationships, agreements, or disputes arising between property owners and listed contractors.
  • Contractors are responsible for declaring any relevant accreditations (e.g., SSIP, CHAS, health and safety certifications, or public liability insurance) upon registration. Cyngor Gwynedd does not verify these accreditations; it is the responsibility of property owners to conduct their own due diligence.
  • The list will remain active for five years (until May 2030), but it will be subject to review and potential updates on an annual basis, if required. Businesses may add themselves to the list at any time. Similarly, they may request removal from the list by contacting the Business Support Team. Cyngor Gwynedd reserves the right to remove any business off the list at any time.
  • The list will be publicly available on Cyngor Gwynedd’s website. Information may also be provided to individuals who contact the Business Support Team directly. This may include the name of the business, your name, and any contact information.
