Some local authorities in other popular UK tourist destinations have already developed schemes to improve the management and experience of visiting leisure vehicle tourists. One of the most common interventions is the development of 'aires' which are very common in European countries. What kind of intervention do you think should be considered to improve the management and experience of visiting leisure vehicle tourists? (Please tick where applicable)

Our research with leisure vehicle owners shows that the vast majority want to stay overnight in more urban locations in order to be close to services such as shops, restaurants and services. Trends suggest on average a 2 night stay before moving on. Would you be happy to see a trial allowing overnight parking for a fixed period of time e.g. 48 hours in car parks at more urban locations?
